Wheatland’s Bunco Night

Friday, March 25th at 6pm

Wheatlands Clubhouse

Drop off your kiddos at Kids Night Out and then join us for a fun night of Bunco, wine, food, laughs and fun!

Some appetizers and wine will be provided, but please bring an appetizer and a bottle of wine to share.

Prizes will be given to the Biggest Winner, Biggest Loser, Most Buncos and Most Mini Buncos.

If you have never played before, don’t worry! It is super easy and fun to play! So bring a friend and join the fun!

Please click on the link below to register.

Limited to the first 80 people that sign up!

In order to make this event more fun, please volunteer to bring a card table. I will need 20 of them if we have a full house. The game is played best with groups of 4 that will rotate. And the tables at the clubhouse are too large to make that work properly.

Thank you for your help in advance.

A very special thank you Jen Sieve from Corken and Company Real Estate Group for sponsoring the fun and relaxing prizes for this event!!!

Sip and Paint on a Friday Night was the perfect way to end a stressful week. Those that attended said, “they really needed this.” Michelle Barnhart from Gallery on the Go did an amazing job teaching us novice painters to complete a beautiful Colorado painting. It was such a fun night of eating, drinking, painting and socializing.

Park Phase II:

We went out to bid in February and we have selected Richdell Construction to complete the project. The construction documents are designed so Phase I (the bug park area) will remain open during construction of Phase II. Construction fences will separate the park from the new construction areas. We will be receiving a finalized schedule from Richdell over the next few weeks and anticipate the project taking 5-6 months.  Check out a few of the features that will be included in Phase II below:
Clubhouse Improvements:

We have added recycling as an option at our clubhouse this spring! We have new recycling containers that will enable residents to have the option to recycle and have added additional recycling containers at the dumpster. We also anticipate adding recycling bins around the pool so we can recycle there as well. Below is a picture of the new recycling options at the clubhouse:
District Landscaping Information:

All tree removal and replacements have been completed. Spring pruning will begin soon and ornamental grasses will be cut down. Snow removal continues as needed across the district.  In addition, we are having our monument lights replaced with LED bulbs. We anticipate this happening as weather will allow and hope it will brighten up our neighborhood monuments as you enter and exit Wheatlands.

Bathroom Remodel:

The remodel is set to be completed soon and will be done before the pool opens. The new tile looks great and is a huge improvement from the previous foam sprayed walls. We can’t wait for the neighborhood to enjoy it!

Design Review Process

Are you planning on making some home improvements or updates to your landscaping? Or are you someone who needs to repaint or replace your roof?

As some of us have experienced, if we wait too long it can be hard to find a painter, landscaper or construction firm that isn’t already booked out for months. Now is the perfect time to plan the work you want to do on your home or yard and meet with contractors. Once your plans are finalized and you have a time frame for the work, submitting your application and supporting documents to the Design Review Committee is the next step.

2.    Fill out the Design Application
3.    Submit your application via email to [email protected] or by mailing it to:
Wheatlands Metro District
C/O AMI
P.O. Box 370750
Denver, CO 80237
4.    Remember to include with your application submittal:
1.    Site Plan showing lot dimensions; outline of home and garage with setbacks; names and positions of adjacent streets; dimensions of improvement (height, width, depth), with setbacks to all boundaries; and an indication of North.
2.    Visual(s) of improvement such as; drawing, photo, brochure/ad, paint swatch (es), material samples, etc.
3.    Building Plans, if the improvement is a new or modified building/structure.
4.    A copy of your Plot Plan

Please feel free to email any Design Review questions to [email protected] or by calling 303-351-5411

PLEASE NOTE: It is the Owners obligation to check with the Town/County/City and obtain a building permit if it is required for the improvement. Any damage resulting from owner installed improvements to common areas or Association maintained landscaping or structures is the responsibility of the Owner. Any cost associated with repairing damage, discoloration or water leaks resulting from owner installed improvements or penetrations to Association maintained structures, shall be the responsibility of the Owner.
