Wheatland’s Bunco Night Friday, March 25th at 6pm Wheatlands Clubhouse 6601 S Wheatlands Parkway Drop off your kiddos at Kids Night Out and then join us for a fun night of Bunco, wine, food, laughs and fun! Some appetizers and wine will be provided, but please bring an appetizer and a bottle of wine to share. Prizes will be given to the Biggest Winner, Biggest Loser, Most Buncos and Most Mini Buncos. If you have never played before, don’t worry! It is super easy and fun to play! So bring a friend and join the fun! Please click on the link below to register. Limited to the first 80 people that sign up! In order to make this event more fun, please volunteer to bring a card table. I will need 20 of them if we have a full house. The game is played best with groups of 4 that will rotate. Save the Date

Join us for the 2022 Wheatlands Easter Extravaganza. Saturday, April 9th 9am-11am Wheatlands Clubhouse 6601 S Wheatlands Parkway Come relax and enjoy a delicious breakfast from the Cruz and Eats Food Truck and a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate from Funky Brewsters. A very special thank you to Jennifer Cronk from 1320 Homes Real Estate, for being our Funky Brewster sponsor. In addition, be sure to: Take a picture with the Easter Bunny Get your face painted by our fabulous face-painter that will be onsite Learn about some amazing Safari Animals that will also be at the event Pick up an Easter craft for some crafting fun Bring your Easter baskets to participate in the a self guided Easter Egg Hunt. (10 eggs per child please) Please sign up so we know how many adults and children will be attending (this will help us determine how many crafts to make and how many eggs we will need to stuff for the Easter Egg Hunt)  This year, the event will be held at the Wheatlands Clubhouse located at 6601 S Wheatlands Parkway, as the Wheatlands Park will be under construction for phase 2 of the park.   This event will be both inside and out.

Prizes will be given for the top winner at each table and given to who has the most chips at the end of the night! Limited to the first 60 people that sign up.

Event Recap

Wheatlands Wine & Food Pairing A very special thank you to Jacob Gillespie from Biggie Blinds and the Wheatlands Metro District will be sponsoring this wonderful winetasting event. The wines were from Sonoma Valley, California from a private vineyard and could not be purchased in stores and were amazing! A special thank you to Chef Nancy from Chocolate Moose Catering who created the wonderful food pairings to go with the amazing wine that will be presented. Yana Ignatovich, a Wheatland resident who provided the spectacular flower arrangements for the evening. And finally thank you to Jen Sieve from Corken and Company Real Estate Group for providing the wine glasses for this event!!! We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful sponsors for this event! This was truly a very fun and educational experience that at least 50 residents in the community were able to enjoy!

Kids Night Out! When: Friday March 11th & March 25th 5:30 pm-8:30 pm Where: Aurora YMCA at Wheatlands 6100 S Kewaunee Way Aurora, CO 80016 What: Kids Night Out Drop the kids off for 3 hours of fun. Dinner, games, crafts, and a movie. Our staff will start the evening with dinner and then lead the kids through a craft and some fun games and activities, followed by a movie.  Ages: Potty-trained to 12 years old. Please register by the previous Wednesday. Cost: $20/child Limited to 20 kids. In order for us to have Kids Night Out will need at least 6 children to sign up.

YMCA Blood Drive at Southlands Mall The YMCA will be continuing to host their monthly blood drive, the 3rd Thursday of every month (March 17th) from 2-6:30pm at the YMCA Southlands teen center classroom.
