Friends and Neighbors in the North District (D1) -Upcoming Coffee With A Cop!
Come out and bring those out of school kiddos for some sweet treats, a beverage, and to meet some of the amazing folks of the APD. No agendas, no planned content, speak about whatever you want!

We will be creating a Neighborhood Garage Sale Map highlighting all participating homes and distributing it via an email blast to the entire community. Promotion for the garage sale is already underway.
If you plan to participate, please ensure you have clear signage directing visitors to your home to help maximize traffic and visibility.

Are you looking for or needing to fulfill community service hours? Want to give back to the community? We are looking for residents willing to lend a hand and to get more involved. And we would love your help and it looks good on your resume too!
We are looking for any responsible teens or adults that would like to help with the Wheatlands community events. We need help with set up, decorating, break down, helping run games or monitoring the bounce house at the events, etc. The time slots to volunteer are anywhere from an hour to a few hours, you decide what works for you. Click on the link below to learn more.
Sign Your 2026 Pool Waiver
In order to have your key fobs activated to access to the pool, all current Wheatland’s residents will need to fill out a NEW Disclaimer of Liability/User Release form for the 2026 pool season. This is a yearly waiver and must be completed for you to have access to the pool. Your dues must be in good standing in order to have your key fob activated. Get your waiver signed today!

Event Recap

Mother & Child High Team
We had a fabulous Mother’s Day high tea celebration at the clubhouse on May 3rd, featuring delicious tea sandwiches, scones, tarts and sweet treats, teas, lemonade and mimosas. A very special thank you to Nancy Gass from Chocolate Mousse Catering for providing such delicious food for the high tea and all the hard work that went into it. It was a very special way to celebrate all the mom’s that attended.
Wednesday Summer Food Truck Nights
Our first food truck of the summer season had a light turn out due to so many school events and activities, but it was fun with the great food trucks and Magic Matt to entertain the kids with his wonderful magic.
See at the next food truck night in June which will feature a craft fair with our Wheatlands residents who have small businesses.
Community Updates

Landscape Maintenance
It feels like summer! Flowers have been planted at the clubhouse, playground mulch was raked, and spring maintenance has been performed. Beauty banding of the native is scheduled and Cox continues to maintain the community landscape. The board did approve Cox using Revive Soil conditioner to help keep the moisture in the grass. With the water restrictions this summer, we are doing all we can to keep the community looking good.

Covenant Enforcement
The board wants to ease residents’ concerns about the watering restrictions this year and being able to maintain their yards. We discussed it with AMI at our May board meeting, and they completely understand that lawns will look drier this year with the Aurora water restrictions in place. Residents should be aware that AMI will still look for weeds and other common violations but will be understanding of the drier conditions with the grass and plants.
