Calling all young chefs!
Cooking for Kids
Calling all kids for some fun in the kitchen! Over 8 weeks, build confidence, practice safe kitchen skills, and eat yummy food as we cook our way through different recipes, learning basic cooking skills along the way. Kids leave this series feeling inspired to try new foods! Classes are led by an experienced cooking instructor in our YMCA kitchen spaces.

Weekly Drop In Adult Soccer

Tae Kwon Do – all ages welcome!
Tae Kwon Do teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit, mind and body. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation.

Women on Weights
Wednesdays at 9:30 AM
This series will focus on strength training for beginner, intermediate and advanced persons identifying as a female. This progressive series will focus on safely performing classic lifts, such as squats, deadlifts and bench press. You will implement a variety of weight lifting techniques using dumbbells, TRX, thera-bands and barbells.

Balance and Falls Prevention

In this series, we’ll discuss safety tips and learn some balance and core exercises that will build confidence with our activities of daily living. Join us as we work to strengthen and mobilize all the muscles involved in improving our balance.

Foundations in Youth Strength

This series is designed specifically for teens ages 12-17 who are interested in learning proper strength training techniques. Participants meet weekly and work on classic lifts including squats, dead lifts and bench press.

Functional Strength
Fridays, January 9 – February 27 at 6:45-7:45 AM
A four-week series designed to bridge the gap between traditional strength training and functional athletic movement. This program combines heavy compound lifts with explosive, lighter-weight movements in unique designed supersets. By blending sports performance with everyday strength, participants will build resilience, agility, and power that carries beyond the gyminto their daily lives.

Intro to Weightlifting
Tuesday, January 27 at 6:15 – 7:15 PM
Weightlifting for beginners is designed for complete beginners or those looking to refine their technique; this course offers an inclusive and supportive atmosphere to establish a solid foundation in the art and science of resistance training. During the class you will be guided through the essentials of weightlifting, with an emphasis on proper form, safety precautions, and injury prevention. You’ll gain hands on experience using various equipment, including free weights and machines, while learning to confidently performkey movements.
Cost: $15 members/$30 non-members
