We are so excited to welcome you to the Aurora YMCA at Wheatlands! It sounds like you are too – we have had nearly 1,000 people share they will be joining the festivities on May 15.
Due to that interest, we’ve made some adjustments to be sure we can all gather safely, and you enjoy your visit to the new YMCA. See below and PLAN AHEAD to visit us at the new YMCA.
1. Event hours have been extended from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, May 15 (previously from 10 AM to 2 PM).
2. Help us plan ahead and gather safely by signing up here for a time period when you’ll join us at the new Y. T
ime slots will be limited. Sign up is first-come, first-served.
3. Residents who live nearby are encouraged to walk or bike over to the new YMCA. There is limited parking in the lot as well as street parking adjacent to the YMCA and the Wheatlands Community Park. Please be respectful of the residents in the community when parking on the street.
4. Please wear your mask if you are in a group outdoors and strive to maintain social distance. Masks are required for people ages 10 and older inside the facility.
5. Enjoy the Colorado weather and the festivities we have planned outdoors on May 15 – food trucks, face painting, kids activities, lawn games and more!
