Community Information

Landscape Maintenance

Year to date we have had 15 snow events. Cox is in charge of snow removal for our district sidewalks and clubhouse. They are also contracted to complete the mailbox pads after a snow event. The City of Aurora is in charge of snow removal on the streets in Wheatlands. We have our dog stations and trash cans checked weekly during the winter months. Ornamental grasses will be pruned in March based on ground conditions. Cox has also begun trimming tree branches that are hanging over onto the street on district property.

Park and Recreation

Our lighting crew has been on site at the Urban Soccer Fields to begin to connect the lighting. The light poles already exist and we are just looking to have them connected so we can play longer this summer and utilize the courts into the night.

Pool Maintenance

The Pool Doctor is working to fix the leak in the zero entry pool. We are also contracting them to replaster the pool once finished. They have reassured us that the work should be done in time for the pool opening this summer.

Covenant Information

The city of Aurora has amended some of its parking regulations and enforcement on public streets and rights of way to align with more stringent changes made in 2023 in neighboring Denver. Starting Nov. 25, 2023, the following rules are in effect for recreational vehicles (includes, but is not limited to, motor homes, camper trailers, truck campers, campervans, watercraft, snowmobiles and off-highway vehicles): -No parking for more than 24 hours during any seven-day period on any street, part of a street or public right of way -Recreational vehicles must be removed from the public right of way for no less than 72 consecutive hours to remain in compliance -Recreational vehicles may be towed or removed if cited vehicle has not been moved from the public street within 24 hours after being cited For questions, contact Park Aurora at 303.739.7338 or [email protected].

Design Review Process

Are you planning on making some home improvements or updates to your landscaping? Or are you someone who needs to repaint or replace your roof?

As some of us have experienced, if we wait too long it can be hard to find a painter,

landscaper or construction firm that isn’t already booked out for months. Now is the perfect time to plan the work you want to do on your home or yard and meet with contractors. Once your plans are finalized and you have a time frame for the work, submitting your application and supporting documents to the Design Review Committee is the next step.
